Jake Caleca, Superintendent of Bear course found an injured Hawk
on Forest property last week.
Jake and Mr. Ben-Susan captured the bird and contacted the bird
hospital CROW, (The Clinic
for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife). The hospital nursed it back to
health and in a week, brought the bird back on property.
They release it Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the same spot it was found injured.
The Hawk didn’t take long to be reunited to his / her mate by loud squawking. It showed how much each was missed and... "Where have you been for the past week???"
